AKURE – There are ongoing speculations that the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu will soon dissolve his cabinet.
A source within the government who don’t want to be mentioned confirmed that the dissolution of Akeredolu’s cabinet would be announced very soon.
The information has it that some commissioners were alleged to have delivered their valedictory speeches at their respective ministries and parastatals in the preparation for cabinet dissolution by the governor.
In line with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended, Arakunrin Akeredolu is expected to complete his first term in office on the 23rd February 2021 and to be sworn in for his second term on the 24th February 2021, having validly elected by the people of Ondo State in the last governorship election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in October last year.
In a matter of days, the Governor is expected to make a public announcement on the dissolution of his cabinet.
