ONDO – Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has approved 1000 free UTME forms for students in Akoko North East/ North West Federal Constituency as part of the program to support Education in the constituency.
A statement from his aide, Thalis Apalowo, said the program is also expected to include free tutorials across six strategic centers in the constituency across the following schools which include – Agbaode Grammar School, Ikare Akoko; Victory College, Ikare Akoko; Iboropa Grammar School, Iboropa Akoko; Ajowa Community Grammar School, Ajowa Akoko; Ajuwa Grammar School, Okeagbe Akoko; St. John’s Primary School, Ogbagi Akoko.
English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Accounting, Economics, Literature in English and Government are the subjects expected to be treated across these tutorial centers.
Mr. Apalowo said the forms are to be distributed to qualify admission seekers in the constituency irrespective of political or religious affiliations.
“Only students with the required five credits including English Language and Mathematics are qualified to obtain the form,” he said.
The forms will be available across all the tutorial centers listed above from Friday, April 30, 2021.
However, Mr. Apalowo didn’t state if the program was part of the constituency projects of the lawmaker for the year.
