EFCC arrests former MD of NDDC over diversion of N47bn

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested a former managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Nsima Ekere for alleged diversion of 47 billion naira.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested a former managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Nsima Ekere for alleged diversion of 47 billion naira.

Mr Ekere diverted the funds through registered contractors working with commission on project execution.

This was disclosed on Wednesday night by EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwajaren, who confirmed the news on Wednesday.
