JUST IN: Former Lagos State Governor Is Dead

LAGOS – The Former Governor of Lagos State, Lateef Kayode Jakande has died at the age of 91 after a brief illness.

He was a renowned journalist and the first civilian Governor of Lagos State and served as the Governor in the Second Republic, from 1979 – 1983.
