Third Main Land Bridge To Be Shut Down On Friday, Lagos Govt

LAGOS – The Lagos State Government is set to shut down the Third mainland bridge from the midnight of Friday, February 26 to midnight of Saturday 27.

The state’s Commissioner for Transportation, Frederick Oladeinde, has told the newsmen on Wednesday.

In a statement, Oladeinde said “While Iyana Oworoshoki-bound traffic from Lagos-Island, Iddo, Oyingbo, Adekunle, and Yaba are enjoined to use Herbert Macaulay Way, Jibowu, and Ikorodu road as alternative routes,”

He urged Lagosians for full cooperation during the prolonged repair works of the bridge, he assured that the bridge is now safe for use.
