Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers State, has described as worrisome how President Muhammadu Buhari signed the 2022 budget after he has described it as “unimplementable”.

The president had expressed some reservations about many of the changes the National Assembly made to the 2022 executive budget proposal while signing the passed budget into law on December 31 in Abuja.

Mr Wike said “Mr President the other day while he was signing the budget, he said this budget is unimplementable.”

“And Mr President went ahead and signed something that is not implementable”.

The governor exclaimed, “chai chai chai, presidooo”. “You know this is unimplementable, he went and signed it.”

“A budget that will determine the economy, the progress of this nation.”, Mr Wike said.
